| When
this customer of ours wanted to add a lighting system to their
vehicle, we discussed a few different possibilities. The customer
already knew that they wanted a bright LED light head in the
front of the vehicle to move traffic, and strobes in the rear
for additional warning. We ended up installing a Whelen TIR6
Slimlighter on the front windshield, and four Whelen hide-a-way
strobe bulbs in the taillight housings. The Whelen hide-a-ways
are powered by a Whelen CSP690 power supply, which offers
90 watts of output, and provides some very bright strobe lighting.
The Whelen TIR6 Slimlighter has great positioning possibilities
due its slim size, and is able to mount behind the rearview
mirrors of most vehicles. This is one bright LED light. |
